Workshops are held at the beginning of each season (during the months of September and October) to provide clubs with an opportunity to discuss any proposed facility improvement projects and seek guidance on applying for grants, both in terms of the WRU Facilities Grants and other external funding opportunities that are available. It is recommended that any clubs wishing to apply for Facilities Grant funding contact the WRU Club Operations Team to attend the Funding Workshops held in various locations across Wales. The Workshops will also assist clubs to consider long term facilities planning in order to make their clubs more sustainable for the future. The sessions are delivered for a small number of clubs at a time to maximise the effectiveness of the Workshops, where Funding Advisors will be on hand to provide detailed guidance on facility improvement projects at your club.
