WRU Level 2 Referee Licence

Aims

Going into greater depth and detail about the principles of refereeing, positioning and the Laws of the Game the course takes place over a series of matches and involves observation instruction and practical application.

An applicant will first observe a Welsh Districts rugby match accompanied by an advisor with the aim of discussing aspects of the game and improving their grasp of the match in progress. When the advisor is satisfed that the referee can officiate at Level 2 the referee will be granted the Level 2 Referee licence.
